Flyers are an effective means of advertising that can convey a lot of information and can be stacked on a counter, taped to a door or window, sent through the mail, handed out personally, or distributed about a thousand other ways.

 

In the old days flyers were often "down and dirty" white paper with black ink but most upgrade now to a well designed full-color print. The most common flyer sizes are 8.5 x 5.5, 8.5 x 11, 8.5 x 14 and 11 x 17.
